Welcome to my Beauty Blog!
Before we really dive in here, I thought it would be a great time to share a little bit about myself and my heart on why I love what I do. I have always been a Tennessee girl. I grew up in Memphis (….. yes, I love J.T… duh) and my love for all things beauty began from taking Cosmetologist in high school. They should offer this technical program at every school, honestly! It saved me. I was a terrible student (sorry Mom and Dad) so realizing my artistic side was filled and channeled by doing hair and makeup started a passion within me. There is something so fulfilling about seeing a transformation right before your eyes! It truly never gets old.
I became a licensed Cosmetologist in 2005 and shortly after I made the big move to Nashville at 20. I can’t believe I have been here this long! I built a wonderful clientele through the years and have made precious friendships. There really is a special bond that comes with playing this role in someone’s life. To be there for them, listen, and help them be their best selves is so wonderful. I’ve done a lot of Nashville weddings through the years which is such a privilege and helping the bride or bridal party feel their absolute best is a joy. On the other hand I absolutely love the art of hair coloring. The freedom you have to transform is limitless. The fact that you can continue to grow with further education is so fun! With social media now, there are such broad learning tools and inspiration with so many talented artists out there.
I got married to my awesome hunk of a husband, Michael, in 2013 and after years of trying and hardships we were blessed with our twins in December of 2016 the week of Christmas. THEY ARE THE BEST. I mean having boy girl twins is Amazing. I cannot imagine our lives without them. Needless to say, I took a break from working since that first year was quite busy. I do intend to work part time again when the twins will go to school down the road!
I love sharing my favorite beauty products and I love anything that helps simplify my routine and I LOVE social selling. There is such freedom from being able to make an income from home. It is way more than personal growth…. its friendships, and giving a creative outlet for you to shine and become your best self!
I recently became an Independent Stylist with AsherKate! It’s been so fun to share comfy clothing, Accessories, and more! You can check out details about Asherkate here.
